About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls and more. This part-time, graveyard-shift role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security concerns, and delivering customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, parking facilities, retail spaces, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required (in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$21.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, graveyard shift.
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 06:30 PM.
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 06:30 PM.
