Security Officer Driver Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, adjacent grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and report policy violations, suspicious activity, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and following post orders related to visitor management, restricted areas, and/or after-hours activity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
