Security Officer Driver Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aviation and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, hangars, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
