About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Courtesy Patrol Security Officer in Middleton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Education. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professional service and communication. This role offers flexibility with the ability to build a schedule that works for you and explore additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws).
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.06 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time overnight shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM.
