Security Officer Courtesy Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Courtesy Patrol in Redford, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report issues involving restricted areas or utility-related operations.
• Support continuity of operations at the location by communicating with employees, contractors, and visitors, following post orders, and assisting with incident response and escalations as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
