Security Officer - Courtesy Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. The site location for this role is Cedar Park, TX, with a set schedule of Thursday 1 PM - 9 PM / Friday - Saturday 1 PM - 10 PM (26 hours/part-time).

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirement
• Able to pass both a background and drug screen
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Able to be professional and well-groomed
• Able to work in outside conditions
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is required
• Have a Texas Security License or be able to obtain one
• Have a valid driver's license

Pay and Schedule
