As a Security Officer Campus Full Time Patrol Circuit in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Carry out regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment.
- Communicate professionally with students, faculty, staff, and visitors while responding to concerns and reporting observations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
