Security Officer Authorization Access

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Professional at a dynamic automotive location in Ladson, SC. You will manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and support a welcoming, security-related environment. This is a full-time, driving post that requires a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive facility by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related access-control activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Document incidents, access concerns, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$17.50 / hour

• Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
