Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control entry and exit at a logistics and distribution location, including coordinating access for delivery vehicles, trailers, and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licenses and certifications: Valid driver's license for driving positions only.
