Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, greet visitors, and report security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible professional presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to associates, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, and document the entry and exit of personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles.
- Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, vehicle information, and other required reports while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
