About the role
As an Armed Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location in Independence, MO, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site-specific procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$28.37 / hour
Schedule
- Position Type: Full Time
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 04:30 AM – 01:00 PM
