About the role
As an Armed Mobile Response Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations and relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain controlled entry to restricted areas.
- Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred qualifications: Comfortable using a computer or tablet, and possess Pepper Spray Certification.

- Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
