About the role

As an Armed Response Security Officer in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service at a high-profile location. This is a driving position that emphasizes teamwork, agile service, innovation, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using authorized equipment and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Valid armed guard card or license.
• At least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation, drug screen, and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.

Pay

$22.00 / hour

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
