Armed Security Officer

About the role

The Armed Security Officer position is crucial for maintaining a secure environment for clients. This role involves routine site patrols, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Routine site patrols both on foot and in vehicle
• Checking for safety and security threats
• Responding swiftly and effectively to emergency situations
• Escalating and using force when necessary
• Working with law enforcement, government staffing, and the community
• Writing detailed incident reports
• Serving as a physical deterrent on site
• Screening all persons coming through public entrances
• Maintaining surveillance systems and utilizing site equipment and technology

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record
• Minimum 2 years armed security, law enforcement, or military experience
• Standard computer / technology skills
• Pass IPAT evaluation
• Strong customer service skills
