Security Officer Armed Response

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location in Georgetown, SC. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, access concerns, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Requirements

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$18.18 / hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Day shifts: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM on Monday, Saturday, and Sunday
