Security Officer Armed Response
About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Response in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry where required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions according to site procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
