Security Officer Armed Response

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Response in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform patrol duties.
