About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Help maintain a professional presence at the location to support a welcoming environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
Requirements
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
