Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and support visitor management processes by verifying credentials, documenting activity, and directing individuals in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
