Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting

Allied Universal® is seeking a part‑time, unarmed Security Officer – Enhanced to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site in Leesburg, VA, with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts. The position involves patrolling a technology data center, delivering customer service, and responding to incidents.

Pay

$26.06 per hour

Schedule

Daytime Saturday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Fixed‑shift “anchor” shift with a six‑month commitment; additional shifts can be claimed via the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at the data center, following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and report access‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and documenting activities.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Possess a valid driver’s license if the position requires driving.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
