Security Officer Armed Patrol Incident Coordination

About the role
As an Armed Patrol Incident Coordination Security Officer in Lynwood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in accurate written reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Preferred: Experience using a computer or tablet, and customer service experience.
