Security Guard Armed Incident Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard Armed Incident Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and documentation of patrols, observations, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
