Security Officer Dispatch Incident Coordination

As a Security Officer Dispatch Incident Coordination in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional in a technology-focused location, you will monitor alarms and communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, and support site operations through clear, professional communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications facility.
- Monitor incoming alarms, access-control notifications, cameras, and communications systems from the dispatch center; document and route events to appropriate personnel.
- Receive calls, radio traffic, and service requests; dispatch security-related personnel, facilities teams, and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with on-site teams and appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and escalation documentation while supporting regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
