Security Officer Incident Dispatch

As a Security Officer Incident Dispatch in Southlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor communications and access activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, support on-site personnel, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and electronic communications; prioritize and dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and service requests.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining accurate communication with site contacts and responding personnel.
- Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident records, and shift reports in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed security-related concerns through established communication channels.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
