Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through professional communication and customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access, contraband concerns, and other policy-related issues at the location.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activities, and notable conditions, and assist with following post orders, government location protocols, and Allied Universal standards.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• An armed guard card/license is preferred.

$21.50 / Hour

Daytime, Wednesday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Thursday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Friday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
