About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a visible presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or potential loss prevention issues, and report findings according to site protocols.
- Support closing and opening procedures, assist with access control and restricted area monitoring, and help with security-related responses involving deliveries, cash movement, and after-hours activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
