About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional armed presence.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, sales floor areas, and/or loading zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
  • Document incidents, assist with access and crowd management as needed, and communicate with store leadership, team members, and/or first responders during security-related events.

Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

$26.50 / Hour

Schedule

DayTime: Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
