Security Officer Armed Patrol Boeing

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location in Ridley Park, PA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while maintaining professional handling of sensitive information.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Pay

$28.71 per hour.

• Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
