Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a welcoming environment through clear communication, sound judgment, teamwork, and integrity while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and other security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow all applicable laws, company procedures, and armed post requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Qualifications
Active Armed Guard Card/License (Texas only) and 21+ Years of Age are required.
