Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver

About the role
As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding communication and customer service while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, grounds, perimeter locations, access points, and/or parking areas, reporting unusual conditions or concerns.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
- Maintain required armed post equipment and complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Day shift: Tuesday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Wednesday 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
