About the role
As an Armed Mobile Response Driver in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. You will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, public access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access to government property, verify credentials when required, and maintain awareness of activity at assigned locations.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
