About the role
This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I).
Responsibilities
- Safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities.
- Drive, patrol, check, and secure doors.
- Monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, entrances, exits, checkpoints, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter.
- Maintain a visible presence and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall mission of the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Provide directions and general assistance to the public, support crowd management during busy travel periods, and follow post orders related to alarms, evacuations, and other emergency procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
- CPR certification is preferred
- Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay
$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
