Security Officer Afternoon Patrol

About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Rockingham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Food/Beverage. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, clear communication with employees and visitors, and representing Allied Universal’s culture of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Preferred: Alarm panel experience and access control/badge experience.

Pay

$15.85 per hour.

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
