As an Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location in Wilson, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least three years of experience as a military police officer, corrections officer, or armed security professional, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
