Security Officer Afternoon Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will remain visible to deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Observe loading docks, shipping and receiving activity, and employee entry and exit areas for unauthorized access or policy concerns, and report findings to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
