Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Associate in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication.

• Day: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, document security-related activities, and report observations, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, crowd management, and/or public assistance efforts when appropriate, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
