Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs, badges, visitor records, and other access-related documentation while communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and guests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns promptly.

Requirements

• A college degree is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
