About the role

As a Security Officer Access Screening Agent in Deptford, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to support a secure shopping environment.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
  • Knowledge of access control procedures.
  • Strong observational skills.

DayTime: Sat 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM Sun 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM
