Security Officer Access Agent

As a Security Officer Access Agent in Covington, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to healthcare and other sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations, activities, and/or unusual conditions.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and/or vehicles as required by site procedures, and communicate access instructions or directions with professionalism and respect.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns and reporting maintenance, access, and/or environmental issues to the appropriate contact.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
