What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen persons, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering designated areas in accordance with location guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify badges, credentials, and/or visitor authorizations to help support authorized access within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and documenting observations based on site policies.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
