Security Officer Access Reporting

As a Security Officer Access Reporting in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery personnel authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
