Security Officer Access Monitoring

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Monitoring in Warren, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. This role provides outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required access logs.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
