The position is a Part‑Time Security Officer Access Monitoring in Jackson, MS, serving clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. The role offers a flexible schedule through the “Claim a Shift” platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access‑control records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations calmly; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Support a professional, controlled environment at an aerospace and defense location by following established procedures for restricted areas, deliveries, and personnel movement.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$11.00 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.
