Security Officer Access Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
• Monitor doors, gates, badges, and visitor registration processes to help regulate authorized access to the facility, production areas, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and key access points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Document daily activity, access-related events, and unusual conditions, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related incidents according to site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
