Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting entry and exit activity at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor doors, gates, badge systems, and visitor logs to help control access to restricted areas and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and following Allied Universal post orders, emergency response activities, and client-directed procedures.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
