Security Officer Access Verification

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, and perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional support.
• Support day-to-day operations at a technology-focused location by communicating clearly with staff and guests, following post orders, and reporting security-related issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
