Security Officer - Access Monitoring

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Chandler, AZ, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and contractor entry in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through clear and timely reports.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
