About the role
As a Security Officer Access Operations in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor and contractor badges, maintain entry logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Coordinate visitor, vendor, and delivery access in accordance with facility procedures, including directing individuals to designated check-in areas and notifying appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
