Security Officer Access Operations

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Operations in Dawn, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, greeting visitors, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support security-related operations through attentive access management, clear reporting, and a visible presence that helps deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points at a manufacturing and industrial location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.48 per hour, weekly pay.

• Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Thursday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
