Security Officer Access Operations

About the role

As a Security Officer Access Operations in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Your role will involve monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and maintaining accurate records. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, drivers, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery driver activity.
• Monitor truck traffic, shipping and receiving areas, and gate activity in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
